In-home cat sitting is preferred by most cats. Travel usually stresses them out and being in a strange place with other upset cats can be hard on them. Many cats will display this stress by peeing on their owners personal items or anywhere but the litterbox. To avoid this when you go on holidays, it is best to have someone come to your home to feed and check on the cat(s). Most cats are self-sufficient as long as they have food and water.
This in-home service can be provided for $15-$20 per visit, usually once a day is adequate. With 10+ years of experience working in a vet clinic, Stephanie can also give any medications needed. (Price based on location, number of cats and medication)
Other things that can be done for no extra charge include: bringing in the mail, watering plants and shoveling the sidewalk.
